Added attraction in Ras Laffan will be our supply ex-pipe which is expected very soon. LNG vessels calling Ras Laffan Port will be able to receive their bunker while alongside working cargo at Berth No. 1, 2 and 3.

 

Ships Owners will now save vessel’s valuable time to receive bunkers while vessel is working cargo at Ras Laffan Port. Ships owners and operators no longer need to travel the extra distance into the Arabian Gulf for their bunker requirement.

  

Presently, the company owns 6 ocean going Product Tankers of which one is medium size, three vessels is carrying Bitumen and the other 2 is being used as banker barge to carry gas oil.

 

As a testament of Qatar Fuel (Woqod) high standard in ship management and operation, none of the vessels have been detained by Port State Control nor involved in any Marine Casualties including any pollution claims till date.

 

Most important is we do not have any claims when it comes to quality and quantity issue since we started bunkering operations, as our products is straight run from refinery.

 

We have managed to achieve this through a dedicated and professional on-shore and off-shore staff, who are motivated and adhere to a very strict quality control procedures in every aspect of our activities. They undergo regular training in order to ensure that the operations are conducted safely and efficiently while protecting the environment.

 

The company has plans to acquire an additional 2 or 3 medium range tankers as a result of its in-house capability which enables it to expand with ease.
